Vorticy Sports Inc. took notice to the frequency of which the bats were breaking. When Clay Hensley nearly got speared in the back of the head by flying bat debris, it was clear that something needed to change. We started to record short clips of every broken bat incident to help understand why the bats were breaking and what could be done to make it safer. Ever since then, we have been working in our shop testing various reinforcing technologies that could safely contain an exploding bat but did not change the bat significantly in weight and performance. After several design iterations and many broken bats, WebWrap technology had matured and a patent was filed.
We are proud of our achievements thus far and are looking to foster a relationship with leagues and companies in hope to bring WebWrap technology to the playing field. If you would like to contact us, please email:
